Lineal is delighted to announce that our apprentice George Ward was successful in being awarded Best Apprentice at the North Devon Journal Business Awards on Friday. George was joined for the presentation evening by Doug Matthews, Matt Norris, Ian Meredith, Mike Matthews, Will Adkin and Martyn Kay who were proud to be there as the winners were announced.
George started at Lineal in April 2014 and we were all very pleased that the ND Journal Business Awards recognised his outstanding work and progress. George has certainly exceeded Lineal’s expectations in both his skills and knowledge during the year he has been our Apprentice in Business Administration. George has been attending PETROC College on day-release to obtain his Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration.
You may have seen George at the North Devon Show last year. Our customers will definitely have spoken to him as George answers most of the support calls coming into Lineal. We pride ourselves on providing immediate telephone response for our clients – no automatic phone systems or being put on hold! You always get to talk to one of the Lineal team who are here to help with any issues on your computer and telephone networks.
Lineal have now been pleased to offer George a permanent position in the company. George is a highly valued member of staff and we are grateful to PETROC and the National Apprenticeship Scheme for introducing him to Lineal.
